Description
I have worked at a credit union in Tulsa for 12 years, working my way up from Teller to current Operations Manager. Between the two positions I have been the Marketing Specialist, the Accountant, the Compliance Officer, and almost everything in between. I am the go-to problem solver for every department at my institution. I work with others with utmost professionalism and integrity. I currently directly manage and supervise 5 employees. This experience has helped me become extremely adaptable, flexible, and has given me major aptitude when it comes to working with others.
During the time of graduating high school in 2008, I had taken several classes and certificate programs geared toward going into television production in some capacity. Unfortunately the television industry in Tulsa back then was limited to non-paying gigs or news stations, neither of which interested me at the time. I did not have the means to go to Hollywood, so I started a career with a financial institution.
I am seeking a role in the Cherokee Nation Film Office because I love my family, I love my tribe and what it does for its people. Preserving our culture and giving back to the community is one of the most important aspirations in my life.
Special Skills & Experience
I ran microphones/audio for the LPGA in Tulsa in 2007 through a program at my high school.
I record music at my home studio in my free time, both for myself and for local musicians. I record, mix, engineer, and master the audio myself.
I completed video production and video broadcasting classes at Union High School, where I operated teleprompters, television cameras, audio, and managed small sets. I edited video, rendered graphics and audio, scouted for locations, learned shot compositions, and more.
I earned a certificate in 3D design and animation from Tulsa Tech in 2008. During the completion of this certificate, I learned the principles of animation, I received more education about composing shots, how elements work together in a 3-D space, and more.
I earned a degree in Enterprise Development and Accounting with Tulsa Community College in 2019. I have had light accounting experience since then, and I'm quite adept at using Microsoft products, and computer use in general. The experience helped me become very accustomed to analyzing data, data entry, time management, and more.
I love to drive cars, vans, vehicles of all types. I work on vintage cars in my free time.
As a multidisciplinary artist, I create art in many forms, including resin casting, painting, sculpting, beadwork, and music composition.
