Description
Sean Gray (Cherokee Citizen)
I am a Cherokee citizen and multidisciplinary creative with experience spanning music, performance, independent media, research, and production support. I am a musician and singer, and my creative roots are shaped by a family lineage connected to Gene Autry and Will Rogers—figures whose legacy of storytelling, music, and Americana continue to influence my work and sensibility.
I am available for on-camera roles including background, featured extra, supporting, reenactment, and documentary performance. My on-screen presence is grounded and natural, well suited for realistic, understated roles such as working-class, rural, professional, or Indigenous characters where authenticity and emotional nuance are essential. I take direction well and understand continuity, blocking, and on-set professionalism.
In addition to performance, I am available for crew and support roles including production assistant, research assistant, script or continuity support, location coordination assistance, community liaison, and behind-the-scenes documentation. My experience in independent journalism and research makes me especially effective on documentary and historically grounded productions.
As a Cherokee citizen, I bring lived cultural perspective and a strong respect for accurate Indigenous representation. I value collaboration, consent, and responsible storytelling, and I am particularly interested in projects that engage Indigenous history or contemporary Native life with care and realism.
I am punctual, adaptable, and professional on set, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cast, crew, and community members. I am available for local and regional productions and interested in building ongoing relationships with filmmakers and Indigenous-led projects.
